Our state of the art facility combines chiropractic care, rehabilitation specialties and Pilates group classes to help get you out of pain and back to activity as quickly as possible. We welcome new patients and look forward to helping you with our 3-part treatment approach consisting of neurologic resets, manual therapy and active care!
For any painful condition, a chiropractic appointment would be the starting point.
We take COVID – 19 very seriously. We have lengthened each patient visit to accomodate for new cleaning procedures and limited the flow of patients through the office. We require masks to be worn at all times by patients, students and staff and have hand sanitizer at multiple locations throughout the office. High efficiency air filtration systems continually clean the air in all the rooms. We screen every patient and student about their risks of having COVID and take touchless temperatures at check in.

chiropractic FAQS

(and answers)

NKT (Neurokinetic Therapy) is a manual muscle technique that will help us determine which of your
structures/muscles are underworking and which ones are overworking. From that information we can develop a very specific treatment plan for you that consists of manual therapy for the overactive structures and specific rehabilitation exercises for the underactive ones.

PDTR (Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex) is a manual muscle technique that can help determine neurological dysfunctions in every structure in the body. By using specific muscle tests, we can assess your muscles, joints, ligaments, tendons, cranial nerves, and organs to determine what specific neurologic resets need to be performed to get your whole system functioning in a more efficient way.

ART (Active Release Technique) is a soft tissue technique that is used to loosen tight structures, improve circulation in the area, and stimulate receptor activity. ART is utilized by the medical staff for almost every professional sports team. Dr. Nelson has been utilizing ART for over 25 years.

After completing the intake forms you will meet with Dr. Nelson to review your history and chief complaint. Dr. Nelson will explain his approach and then perform an evaluation. The evaluation will consist of a postural assessment, a movement assessment, a palpation assessment, muscle testing assessment, and specific orthopedic/neurological tests depending on your complaint. From this information, Dr. Nelson will potentially perform specific neurological resets, soft tissue treatment, chiropractic adjustments, and prescribe specific exercises and/or movement modifications. Follow up visits will consist of an assessment, neurological resets, soft tissue treatments, chiropractic adjustments, and specific exercise prescription.
New patient office visits are approximately 40 minutes with follow up visits running approximately 20 minutes.
We try our best to stay on time. We do not double book appointments and the only reasons that we would be behind schedule is if a patient is running late or a patient’s condition is severe and requires extra attention.
We have a self pay option.
We can assess any injury including neck pain, back pain, extremity pain (shoulder, ankle, hip, knee, elbow, wrist and foot), headaches, vertigo, concussions, and more. When appropriate, we will refer to the proper specialist for further assessment.
We require 24 hour notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment without being charged our cancellation fee.

Rehabilitation FAQS

(and answers)
DNS stands for Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization and it is a system developed by the Prague School of Manual Medicine which assesses your movement in comparison to ideal posture and stabilization milestones seen in a baby’s first year as they progress from lying and rolling to crawling and walking. Dr. Kerri Nelson specializes in analyzing your movement and breaking it down into its component parts to help you clean up faulty patterns and reintegrate healthy ones. For example, overhead squats can be performed lying on your back in a 3 month old position to develop coordination and stability here first before verticalizing it.
Check out our Get Started page and fill out your info to request an appointment. We will contact you promptly to find a suitable time that fits your schedule. Or you can always do it the old fashioned way and just give us a call at 856.767.8800 and let our receptionist know you are interested in scheduling a rehabilitation appointment with Dr. Kerri. Then you can print out our registration forms and bring them to your first visit.

pilates FAQS

(and answers)
If you are pain free, already active and hoping to keep it that way, we would love to see you in one of our group classes. We begin all of our brand new students with a 60-minute Principles Private Lesson in order to go over diaphragmatic breathing, how to create intra-abdominal pressure, the type of cueing you will hear in class and introduce you to the equipment to ensure your seamless entry into the group setting. You can schedule this by going to our Get Started page and request an appointment for your Principles Private Lesson and we will promptly get back to you to set it up. Of course, calling is also an option! Feel free to call us at 856.767.8800 and let our staff know you would like to schedule a Principles Private Lesson before your first class. Also on our Get Started page, you can print out the Pilates Class Registration Form to bring with you on your first session.
This is where the Principles Private Lesson comes in handy! During this one-on-one session, your instructor will guide you through your first experience of the Pilates equipment and choreography, and together, you can determine which class level will be the best fit.
Just like our chiropractic policy, we require 24-hour notice of cancellation of any class or private lesson or you will lose that session fee.
Any of our programs accept cash, check or charge. We can also store your credit card information for ease in transaction to pay for classes, chiropractic copays, etc. and help decrease touch points in our office and studio.
All classes are 55 minutes with extra time allotted for cleaning after each class. We are meticulous about cleaning.

Our single classes are $35 each and if you are a first time student, the Principles Private Lesson is $65. Our packages of classes are for committed students who plan on attending at least 4 or 8 classes each month. We offer a 4 pack of classes for $119 and an 8 pack of classes for $224 that must all be used within the same calendar month. Unused classes will not carry over into the next month.
